Square Sellers Now Sync to Apple Maps, Siri and Wallet
Square sellers can now connect to Apple Business from their dashboard, syncing hours, address and booking links to Apple Maps, Siri and Wallet.
Square sellers can now link their business to Apple Business from the Square Dashboard. Once connected, hours, address, phone number and logo sync automatically to Apple Maps, Siri and Apple Wallet, and a booking or ordering link can sit right on the Maps listing.
What shipped
Square announced the integration on September 24, 2026. Any business-verified Square seller can connect their location to Apple Business from the same dashboard they already use for sales, staffing and inventory. Once connected, hours, address, phone number and logo sync automatically to Apple Maps, Siri and Apple Wallet and stay current without a separate update in each app.
The listing itself gets more useful too. Sellers can put action buttons on their Apple Maps place card: Menu, Order, Pickup, Delivery, Book or Schedule Appointment, so a customer can act from the map instead of hunting for a website. Square cites its own numbers: claimed locations see 30 percent more views on Apple Maps, and listings with an action link get a 31 percent higher clickthrough rate.
Enrollment is built for sellers new to Apple Business: in the US and Canada, a business-verified seller without an existing account can enroll directly through Square Dashboard. The release notes Square recently connected sellers to ChatGPT and Claude for AI-powered discovery too, extending the same idea to Apple's own apps.
Why an owner should care
Most small businesses fight the same small war: hours change for a holiday, and three or four listings are wrong until someone fixes each one. A wrong hours listing on Apple Maps sends a customer to a locked door. This closes that gap for anyone on Square already, at no extra cost. The bigger opening is the action links: a customer asking Siri for a nearby appointment, or tapping a Maps pin, can go straight to booking instead of a call that might not get answered.
What it looks like inside an AV or trades shop
Picture an AV integrator with a showroom or a defined service area. Hours shift around installs and a phone number changes when the office moves, and it rarely reaches every map and assistant a customer checks. Connecting Square to Apple Business means Siri answers with hours and a number that match what is true that day, with a Schedule Appointment button right there instead of a dead end.
Any service business with foot traffic or a service radius, a salon, a repair shop, a contractor, hits the same problem and gets the same fix. It lives inside a tool these owners already log into, the difference between something turned on this week and something left on a list. It is the same instinct behind AI for AV integrators and smart home companies: fewer places to update by hand means fewer things break. See how a Claude setup for small business handles the rest of that workflow.
What to do this week
- If you run Square, open the Dashboard and look for the Apple Business connection in your settings.
- Confirm your hours, address, phone number and logo are correct in Square first. That is what syncs everywhere.
- Turn on the action link that matches how customers reach you: Book, Schedule Appointment, Order or Pickup.
- Not on Square? Check whether your point-of-sale or booking system offers the same Apple Business sync before switching platforms.
Questions owners ask
Do I need a separate Apple account to use this?
Not if you are a business-verified Square seller in the US or Canada without an existing Apple Business account. Square says those sellers can enroll directly through the Dashboard.
Does this cost anything extra?
Square's announcement does not name a price for the connection itself. Check your own Square plan and Apple's terms before assuming it is free at every tier.
What if I already have a Google Business Profile?
This connects to Apple's ecosystem, not Google's, and does not replace updating your Google listing. Source: Square and Apple team up to help businesses get discovered, Square Press, September 24, 2026
